Senior Fire Officer 3 Ramil Gillado, investigation chief of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Davao City, said the fire broke out at around 6:30 a.m. in one of the houses in the village.
He said initial investigation showed the fire started at the walling portion of the house occupied by Josephine Lamoste.
Gillado said fire investigator cited electrical arcing as cause of fire.

Damage is estimated at P875,000.
