DAVAO CITY -- The City Business Bureau issued a cease and desist order (CDO) against Jogle Innovative Marketing two days after it opened for failing to secure a business permit.
Before the city issued the CDO, the Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 led by Brigadier General Marcelo Morales already inspected Jogle after receiving reports it is engaging in an investment scheme similar to those that are currently proliferating in many areas in Mindanao.
Morales gave orders to the management to temporarily close the business for operating illegally.

Jogle, located in Molave Street, Roldan Village, Barangay Maa, Davao City and owned by Glenn Olivares Panarez, failed to present documents to Morales during the inspection.
The police apparently reported this to the city government authorities, prompting the Anti-Scam Unit (ASU), Business Bureau, and members of the Davao City Police Office to conduct the operation against Jogle.
The establishment was reportedly selling wellness products and other wholesale products.
Based on the copy obtained by the Mirror, it was only on May 17, 2019 that Jogle filed an application for business permit at the Business Bureau.
