DRFA blasts ILRFA anew in PFF U15 nat’l finals

DAVAO CITY -- A Philippine Football Federation (PFF) U15 National Finals appearance is now within reach for the Davao South Regional Football Association (DRFA) U15 team after extending their win streak in the Mindanao eliminations to five following a victory over Iligan Lanao del Norte Regional Football Association (ILRFA) at the Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
DRFA beat ILRFA 4-1 behind strong performances from Ronmer Lei Paciente (two goals), Kent Sia (one goal), and Gian Paolo Sartirani (one goal).
DRFA earlier beat ILRFA 2-0 on July 13 at the Davao City-University of Philippines (DC-UP) Sports Complex in Bago Oshiro, Tugbok, Davao City.
The team coached by Alex Adolfo is also composed of Luis Antonio Aquino, Gian Andrew Bernaldez, Miguel Luis Cerin, Uriel Dalapo, Alessandro Romero Ea, Jose Miguel Fabello, Jhojie Fernandez, Gian Lacerna, Vianney Ross Lagundi, Matthaeus Henricus Lim, Janfritz Llubit, Psalm Emmanuel Loquero, Breindel Medina, Rhianne Axelle Mendoza, Christian Jay Osog, Alexander Pichon, and Saidamin Bacol.
DRFA hopes to extend their winning streak to six when they host Golden Davao FA on August 10 at the Tiongko football field along Quezon Boulevard, Davao City.
On July 20, the visiting DRFA booters demolished the home team Golden Davao FA 3-0 at the New Bataan Sports Complex in New Bataan, Davao de Oro.
The three goals of DRFA were provided by Arseth Jelp Jayubo, Gian Carlo Caserial, and Ronmer Lei Paciente.
The nationwide tournament was organized by the PFF to determine the top under 15 FA in the country.
Both the Luzon and Visayas legs of the PFFU15 National Championship are also underway.
