PULSE ASIA SURVEY: Duterte still most trusted elected government official

DAVAO CITY -- President Rodrigo Duterte got the highest approval and trust rating among the key elected government officials in the latest Pulse Asia survey.
The survey, conducted on December 14 to 21, 2018 and the results of which were released on Friday, showed the President getting an 81 percent approval rating. This was a six-point increase over his rating in September 2018.
The President’s trust rating also increased by four points from 72 percent in September 2018 to 76 percent in December 2018.
The survey also showed Vice President Leni Robredo getting an 62 percent approval rating and 56 percent trust rating.
Senate President Vicente Sotto III got a 74 percent approval rating and a 66 percent trust rating.
The Pulse Asia survey results showed House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo trailing all top officials with a 27 percent approval rating and a 21 percent trust rating.
Pulse Asia said it conducted the survey using face-to-face interviews of 1,800 adults nationwide.
