Service to the people is service to God: Go

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Sunday reiterated his stand that service to the people is service to God.
Nandito po ako para magserbisyo sa inyong lahat,” Go said at the gathering of the Jesus Miracle Crusade (JMC) at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park.
“Noon, ngayon at saan man po ako ipadpad ng aking tadhana, papasukin ko kahit saang eskinita para marinig ang mga hinaing ng mga kapatid natin, lalong-lalo na yung mga nangangailangan ng tulong,” he said.
Go emphasized that while his mandate is to be a legislator, he will continue to go around the country to hear the grievances of those in poor communities to address their immediate concerns.
He said like President Rodrigo Duterte, he plans to be more hands-on and in touch with the masses.
Go also took the opportunity to thank the JMC religious organization and its founder, Pastor Wilde Almeda, who was celebrating his birthday, for the support given to him and in believing in his ability to serve the nation through his advocacies.
Go reiterated how thankful he was for the gesture the founder and the organization had given him.
