DAVAO CITY (PIA) -- The National Building Summit: Davao Roadshow will be held in Tagum City on February 28. The roadshow will give an opportunity for the public to interact with Ramon V. del Rosario Siklab awardees.
Siklab Awards are given to individuals who are established leaders, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, embodying passion to make lives better and who have a proven commitment to nation building. The award is named after PHINMA Corporation founder Ambassador Ramon V. del Rosario.
The National Building Summit Roadshow will provide a venue for the RVR awardees and Siklab winners that practice social entrepreneurship. The aim of the event is to inspire students, young professionals and institutional leaders to strive for outstanding corporate citizenship, entrepreneurial spirit and create passion for nation-building.
The Nation Building Summit Davao Roadshow will happen at the Tagum Campus of the Center for Agricultural Rural Development-Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD-MRI). The event will be attended by social entrepreneurs and City officials led by Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon.
Social entrepreneurs such as Larry Miculob, Gary Ayuste and Dr. Edgar Elago will be gracing the event and will be conducting talks. There will be an open forum with the speakers.
A financial education session will happen in the afternoon. The Nation Building Summit Roadshow will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is organized by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Manila and JCI Davaoeña Dabadaba in partnership with PHINMA and Dela Salle University and sponsored by CARD-MRI. PIA 11/RG Alama
